Sebastiaan Matthijs Aaldering is a really good photographer from the Netherlands that has visited JapDays at Mantorp Park for some years, and I’ve seen his work on other cars. Was very happy when I saw that the Isuzu was caught by his lens at JapDays 2022.
I’m a Porsche 911 owner – again!
Exactly ten years after selling my last Porshce, a Carrera 996.2 facelift with an odd combo of exterior parts, it was time.
The first one was a black Carrera 2, and the paint job had seen better days, so the car went through a full wrap transformed into pearl white. The exterior of this Porsche was a combination of a turbo front, GT3 MK2 side skirts and a GT3 MK1 ”taco style” rear wing. Odd indeed, but still looked amazing.
Do you what movie the quote on top comes from? – Of course it’s The fast and the Furious! Before the first race there’s a guy called Danny Yamato who’s playing Gran Turismo on his PS1 installed in the car, now you remember right?
Last year I managed to snap some photos inside Stockholm City of the very last cherry blossom that was still left up in the trees, and I promised myself that I would NOT miss the next year.
When I bought the car I got a lot of parts with it that’s been saved in boxes in my storage, and in of the boxes I found a Raid steering wheel with that classic Italian 80s design such as Luisi, Nardi and Momo all use.
I also found a boss kit with the number ”3406” that I later identified as a Luisi adapter for Isuzu Gemini, but that should fit the Piazza as well.

His Piazza is sporting a black and gold combo, which we obviously love, paired with a pretty bold lowering stance and Renoma Paris wheels and steering wheel.
The wheels are 15″ 7J painted in matte black with gold details, and I absolutely love these! Renoma is a French fashion house, who partnered with Easy Riders of Japan to make a handful of wheels in the mid ’80s.
