JapDays 2022

On 5-6 August 2022, it was finally time to fill Mantorp Park with Japanese vehicles in all its forms!

Here you get to experience track racing, exhibition, drive-in cinema, drifting, off-road and a lot more! Only Japanese cars will be allowed to enter the area, but of course everyone is welcome!

I arrived with my brother on friday afternoon and the place was already filling up with japanese cars of all kinds: track monsters, drifting missiles, stance builds offroaders, kei cars, kyusha old school and lots of other legendary JDM car models.

I finally got to meet Jan from Norway – Another Piazza owner and of course we teamed up together in the JDM Classics team area!

In the evening we participated in the huge cruising along the race track, and what a vision it was. Hundreds of different japanese cars crusing the track together!

We had decided to sleep in a borrowed tent at the event camping – if it wasn’t raining, then we would go to nearest hotel and check in. It looked like it wouldn’t rain so we took part in the party that was going on at night, and we had a really good time, even though the tent was a miserable disaster…

Despite the night’s non-beauty sleep, the next day was amazing, and we could enjoy all the nice cars, people and atmosphere as usual at JapDays Mantorp Park!

I even got a piece of famousness as I was published in the article from Bilsport at the event!
